Inspired by quiet walks through the beautiful water gardens at Cliveden National Trust, Catching Shades & Chasing Light I & II explore the ever-changing relationship between light, water and reflection.

Rather than depicting the gardens exactly as they appear, these paintings capture the feeling of moving through this peaceful landscape... where sunlight dances across the water, lily pads drift gently between pockets of shadow, and vibrant blooms emerge from the stillness.
