Forest Corridor

Forest Corridor is an original contemporary abstract landscape painting inspired by the immersive experience of walking through woodland… where dense foliage, shifting light and glimpses of sky create a sense of discovery.

Part of my Forest Bathing series, this painting explores the restorative feeling of being surrounded by nature. A luminous turquoise pathway draws the eye into the painting, inviting you to imagine stepping beneath the canopy and following the path deeper into the forest.

Layers of acrylic paint and mixed media create a richly textured surface, with vibrant greens, turquoise, deep blues and flashes of pink and yellow capturing the energy, movement and ever-changing light of the woodland.

Painted intuitively, Forest Corridor is less about depicting a particular place and more about capturing the feeling of being in nature — that quiet sense of escape, connection and renewal that comes from slowing down and immersing yourself in the landscape.
